I started with photography in 1982 with a Canon A-1 SLR equipment. I had a photographic pause from 1993 to 2001, until I bought my first digital camera, a Powershot G1, and reasumed photography, in 2001.

After living 15 years in Cologne, very urban city, we moved to countryside three years ago and we now live in a very beautiful rural region at the very south of Bavaria. So I have a lot of subjects to take photos from, especially landscapes, mountains, lakes, woods, rivers, picturesque villages, countryside.

I’m currently shooting with a Nikon D90 DSLR and AF-S Nikkor 18-105G VR lens, and a Pentax K20D, with Pentax DA 18-55WR and Sigma 70-300 DG lens.

Image treatment: Gimp 2.6, DxO Optics Pro 5.3, Photomatix Pro 2.4, Ulead Explorer 8.0, Nikon ViewNx 1.4, PSE7 (Photoshop Elements 7.0), Picasa 3.5, UF-Raw 0.15. Many pictures are unaltered though, as is.
